The S3 API, not a lookalike
Point any S3 client at your endpoint with path-style addressing and any region name. Your access key and secret key are generated for the server and shown in the panel, and a first bucket is created for you.
Buckets on an endpoint that is yours, behind an access key generated for your server. Anything that speaks S3 works with it - the AWS CLI, rclone, Cyberduck, restic, Laravel's filesystem - so backups, uploads and media can live somewhere other than the app server.
Read before you buy
Short, practical reading from the people who run the platform - what to size, what to watch, and what tends to go wrong.

A backup is only the copy you can restore. What belongs in one, where the copies live, how long to keep them, and the parts that never get backed up.

An untested backup is a hypothesis. A restore drill you can run in half an hour, the numbers it gives you, and the six things that usually fail.

How to take a consistent dump of PostgreSQL or MongoDB, where to keep it, how to restore one table or the whole thing, and how to prove it worked.
S3 Object Storage
S3-compatible object storage on your own endpoint, with your own access key. Works with the AWS CLI, rclone, Cyberduck, Laravel, restic and anything else that speaks S3.

The AWS CLI, rclone, Cyberduck and restic connect unchanged, and so does any application with an S3 driver. Moving off it later is the same commands pointed somewhere else.
The endpoint itself answers plain HTTP on its port. Each plan carries a proxy slot: point a hostname at it and the panel issues and renews the certificate, so clients talk to it over HTTPS.
One copy of your data, on NVMe in one location. It is a good place for uploads and a second copy of your backups; it is not a substitute for keeping a copy somewhere else as well.
Anything that speaks S3: the AWS CLI, rclone, Cyberduck, restic, and application libraries such as Laravel's S3 driver. Use path-style addressing; the region name can be anything.
Yes. Each plan includes a proxy slot - point a hostname at it and the certificate is issued and renewed for you.
No. It is stored once, on NVMe in one location. Keep important backups in more than one place.
